Why we built it

For as long as we’ve been building Freckle, one message from users has come through loud and clear:

“We love how fast Freckle is for enrichment,  but I still have to go out to find new people.”

That process of leaving Freckle to source new leads, enriching them elsewhere, then manually importing them back in created friction. It wasn’t just slow; it risked accuracy every time a file changed hands.

With People Search, we close that loop.

We built a way for teams to stay inside the same interface they already use for enrichment, while adding the ability to discover new contacts, refine the data they find, and sync everything back into the systems that power their day-to-day. The goal was simple: make it possible to build, enrich, and activate data without ever leaving your workspace.

How it works

When you open a table in Freckle, you’ll now see a new native integration: Apollo – Find People at Company. This feature lets you instantly surface verified contacts at that organization through Apollo’s data (the same source used by many top GTM teams). With a few clicks, you can reveal new contacts and enriched insights without exporting a thing.

You can control how the enrichment behaves. Run conditions allow you to decide when searches execute and how they’re scoped. Want to target only VP and Director-level contacts? Exclude certain departments? Limit runs to specific regions? You can fine-tune every search to reflect how your team actually works.

All of this happens inline. People Search displays results in a subtable view directly beneath your Freckle data, so you can browse new contacts in context. There’s no need to flip between tabs or chase down sources. And, if you ever want to verify where a piece of data came from, you can double-click any field to trace it back to its enrichment source.

You can use Freckle’s built-in Apollo API key to start exploring right away, or connect your own key for enterprise control, billing, and usage tracking. Either way, the experience is identical. Simple, fast, and transparent.

Why it matters

The modern data workflow wasn’t designed for operators. It’s evolved piecemeal over time: a discovery tool here, an enrichment platform there, a CRM sync somewhere downstream. Getting started

Setting up People Search takes only a few clicks:

1. Open your Freckle table.
2. Go to Integrations, or select Add New Column → Apollo – Find People at Company.
3. Configure your search: roles, seniority, exclusions, and run conditions.
4. Run the configuration and a people icon will appear showing how many contacts were found.
5. Click the column or open the subtable view to review, enrich, and sync.
