Yes, you need to sign up to a Freckle paid plan to then have your Clay credits traded in.
You can trade in 3 Clay credits for 1 Freckle credit. This is because Freckle only charges 1 credit per output, whereas in Clay it charges multiple credits depending on the data provider/s used. For example: Clay’s email waterfall enrichment averages 8 credits across the providers, in Freckle that is just one credit.
No, you won’t lose your Clay credits. Our hope is that you’ll not have a reason to go back to use them once you’ve used Freckle!
No, this is an initiative run by Freckle only. You will still keep your Clay credits and nothing will change with your relationship with Clay. This is an incentive to enable you to activate on Freckle sooner if you would like to make the switch from Clay.
